RodMyers, does this comment refer to the X1 or the X250?
the devs have X1 carbon laptops. they have the latest versions, I believe.
I have a Gen 2, with the funky function keys. works very well
Thanks. It looks like the X250-260 are 12.5 inches, a tad too small. I think I will go for the X1
Last year, long before Skylake and Kabylake support in TrueOS I got myself a nice Clevo P650SE with Haswell i7 4720HQ.Everything works perfectly: http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/sager-np8651-clevo-p650se-with-gtx-970m-htwingnuts-review.765376/
What I like the most are the illuminated keyboard, fast WiFi, 2xM2 slots and 2xSSD (one for TrueOS and one for Win10).
Is control of the illumination independent from the OS?
So, can you tell me what I am doing wrong? I do not see the device on my X260.

I see it's listed here
have you attempted load load module manually, as per this page?
FYI, there has been a regression in that driver. Adrian is aware and he's working on it. Once the driver is loaded, auto configuration fails and you have to manually create the device, sadly once you associate with an access point the interface will crash.
@valmar, if you got a X1 Carbon 4th gen can you post your expirience with TrueOS on it?I might have to buy a new laptop in a not so far future, so this would be a grate help for me
Have you seen an ETA on the fix? BZ# I can track?
Sorry for the delay in answering. Unfortunately I had some family expenses and I could not buy the laptop yet. I will report as soon as I buy it in one or two months. In Europe the HIDPI version is not on sale yet. Do you advice me to wait for the HIDPI version or is it in your opinion better to go with the normal one?
Thanks for the feed back, I don't know how well TrueOS supports HDPI, but my personal experience is, that if you use the laptop a lot, having a better screen can be worth quite a lot. (Even if it's a better screen with the same resolution).
Nope, I rolled back to a 7620 card I had lying around until it gets sorted out.
Just throwing it out there for anyone else who reads this thread, I just installed it on my T450s and was frankly amazed how smoothly the install and first boot went. Everything worked out of the box.
